Job Brief
The purpose of the role is to produce General Arrangement drawings & Detailed Design drawings for telecommunication base stations using CAD – AutoCAD – Streetworks, Greenfield & Rooftop, Upgrades Drawings to the highest quality throughout the process.
The scope of the Business is – Acquisition, Design & Construction for telecommunication clients (i.e. Cornerstone, Airwave, O2 & Vodafone)
The role has responsibility and accountability to make sure the drawings are correct and build-able to save the company both time and money and to the relevant Health and Safety requirements
Duties & Responsibilities

The main duties include:
•Producing accurate & legible GA’s & DD’s using the AutoCAD system to the highest quality and to SLA and KPI’s
•Amendments to GA’S & DD’s to the highest quality and to SLA and KPI’s
•Reading and interpret the MSV (Multi skilled visit) correctly
•Viewing and interpreting all site photos correctly
•Reviewing the MSV with the Engineer who visited the site prior to starting the drawings to ensure correct interpretation and to capture all requirements
•Liaison with the CAD Coordinator and Design Manager regarding issues and amendments
•Liaison with Build team when required on Site Design issues and changes
•Compliance with CDM regulations
•Ensuring product knowledge is up to-date

Essential Knowledge and Skills
  • Experience of Computer Aided Design – (AutoCAD) in a similar Telecoms role > 3 years
  • Experience of Technical Drawing within industry (not just at college/university) > 3 years
  • Advanced knowledge of CAD (AutoCAD)
  • Excellent understanding of CAD & Basic technical drawing practices
  • General Mobile Operator experience
  • Full driving license
Desirable Knowledge and Skills
  • Knowledge of Steelwork, Civils & Electrical
  • Knowledge or experience of Vendors
