Clarke’s professional in-house Acquisition and Planning team comprises over 40 Surveyors, Acquisition Project Managers, Code Valuers and Town Planners. Many of the team are RICS / RTPI chartered, with complementary skill sets and experience drawn from diverse backgrounds (ex-telecom operator; private practice; infrastructure providers; local authority planning) that give our team industry-leading insight and expertise. Our team has extensive first-hand experience of the acquisition and planning process from site search or upgrade instruction, through planning and full legal completion to handover to build.

As a Tier 1 supplier of Electronic Communications Code (ECC) services to our customer base, Clarke has been heavily involved in the ECC since inception and continues to invest in continual learning and improvement as ECC evolves. Our established operational model is to use subject specialists from our in-house property team, working as a close-knit team across all property disciplines (Acquisition, Code, Town Planning) to deliver optimum results for our customers. To date, the Clarke Code team has completed and obtained approvals on over 1,000 valuations across various projects.
By working closely with our clients, our in-house Design team and other stakeholders, the Acquisition and Planning team adopt a “right first time” approach to acquisition, from instruction to access. With over 12,000 telecoms sites legally accessed in recent years, we have a very successful track record of delivery that is continually rewarded with repeat business from our clients.
